Jon is related to Jo Mora by marriage as Grace Needham was Jon’s Great Grandmothers sister. The families shared many good times and adventures together including Jo Jr. passing along many great family stories to Jon’s generation.

Jon has compiled three catalogues – Cartes and Maps, Books, and Sculptures - about Jo’s accomplishments. In addition, his antique shop – Tic Toc Tique, in Murphys, CA, specializes in everything and anything Mora.

The Joss Grandeau Collection

The most extensive and complete library of the books written and/or illustrated by Jo Mora along with other related material and ephemera. The collection also includes an extremely comprehensive bibliography, various other collectibles, a complete set of the Jo Mora cartes (maps), several bronzes, as well as a very fine collection of original art from a period spanning from Jo’s childhood in 1886 (Jo was 10 years old then) to the final weeks of his life in 1947, at age 71. The collection also includes material about the Mora family including Jo’s father, Domingo, a sculptor, and Jo’s brother, Luis, a painter.

Thank you to Joss for his help with many of the new additions to the web site.
