The Jo Mora Gallery in the Monterey Maritime and History Museum

This is the largest public display of Jo Mora’s work in a museum and it can be viewed during all museum hours. The bulk of the collection was previously owned by Patti Mora (Jo’s daughter) and gifted many years ago by Patti’s brother, Jo N. “Joey” Mora, Jr., to the Monterey History and Art Association.
Jo Mora’s famous Diorama of Sutter’s Fort has recently been moved from Sacramento and is now on display at the Maritime Museum.
